Was Mother Right? Eat Your Carrots
Your mother always said eat your carrots, well she was right acording to Scientific America. According to the publication, "Scientific American Share to FacebookShare to Twitter (6/24, Maron) reports that carrots may improve one’s eyesight under specific conditions. The body produces vitamin A by digesting beta-carotene, and National Eye Institute Clinical Director Emily Chew adds that “vitamin A is really important, there’s no question about that.” The substance “helps the eye convert light into a signal that can be transmitted to the brain, allowing people to see under conditions of low light,” according to Scientific American."
So Eat your Carrots ...... they are good for you!!!!
